New Jerusalem Haitian Baptist Church of Sarasota is a small local church in Sarasota, FL that has been serving and transforming the Haitian Community in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Nort Port area for the last 25 years and counting.

In 2000, New Jerusalem Haitian Baptist Church of Sarasota began with four members within the living room of Pastor Jean Tannelus’ humble home. The members were Pastor Jean, his wife, and two young daughters. Rooted in the principles of the Christian faith, Pastor Jean and his family served their community by opening up their home to impoverished families and individuals such as orphans, battered mothers and refugees seeking asylum.

Today, New Jerusalem Haitian Baptist Church of Sarasota continues to grow and serve its community with the same commission. No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us.

Our Sunday School starts at 8:30 AM and our Service starts at 9:45 AM.
